Cruisin....
Cruises are awesome for many reasons. One of those reasons being everything is included! You go to bed, and the next day, you're someplace new! Food, (most) drinks, accommodations, entertainment, pool, and transportation are included. Everything you need for a great vacay. Sure there are some cruises that are better than others, but overall, I love to cruise. I'll share with you here some awesome adventures and cruises to try, along with some cruise wear to take with you.

Out of all the cruises I've tried, I'll just share my top favorite stops. Celebrity Cruises pictured here was one of my faves. Not only was the ship huge and really nice, the staff was super nice and friendly. The dinners were delicious and oh so fancy, the accommodations were nice, and the excursions were great. One of the more expensive cruise lines, but you get your money's worth. I did the Mediterranean cruise which started off in Rome, then took off to Athens, a handful of Greek Islands including Mykonos, Santorini, and Rhodes. We also made a stop in Turkey, Sicily and back to Rome (not necessarily in that order). Celebrity Cruise had an older crowd, which for me was awesome. I'm not exactly a fan of traveling with children so if you're like me, this is your cruise line.
We did a 10 day cruise, so if you plan on doing this, pack plenty of clothes! I'm usually a fan of packing light, but in this case, you'll need to bring plenty. I recommend two outfits per day. One casual fit for excursions and exploring during the day, then a nicer dressier outfit for night. Most cruises offer formal nights, usually one or two nights depending on the length of the cruise. So plan on bringing 2 formal outfits, a nice formal dress usually does the trick. Men, if your on the celebrity ship and it calls for formal, a jacket is in order. The cruise website will usually let you know what the dress code is. Here is some outfit inspo, brought to you by poshmark of course!
For one of the nights, I donned this lovely Victoria Secret Moda International maxi, perfect cruise wear.

Now some people got really fancy with it and had on elegant ball gowns and such. That's not really my style. I'm more of a sexy cute person myself. So depending on your style, you may go fancier or a bit more casual. Women have way more flexibility. As long as you have on a dress or pant suit, your'e fine.
Some more great cruise dresses below...

Now during the day, you'll def want comfy walking shoes, shorts or easy summer dresses, hat and a roomy tote to carry all your souvenirs. :) Also depending on the type of excursion, you made need your bathing suit or more active wear. I'm not too much of an adventurer, so my fits tend to be bathing suit, shorts, tank, and flip flops, and hat of course.
Case in point, this lovely casual fit. Blurry pic from sunblocky fingers. :)

you'll want a good pair of sunglasses, not too expensive in my opinion in case you happen to fall while paddleboarding. Just sayin, not that I've done that...
Like these great Allure Genesis glasses

And don't forget your hat! a must while exploring the streets of Mykonos
Like this simple yet lovely beach hat, only $8!!

Now maybe doing a self-guided walking tour of San Juan, Puerto Rico is more your style.
This was another cruise I did a few years back on Carnival Cruises. A great 7 day Eastern Caribbean cruise starting in San Juan, and stopping in St. Thomas, St. Lucia, Barbados, St. Martin, shoot I forget where else, but it was amazing! And one of my favorite cruises. Beautiful islands and great beach time. Did I mention the rum?

You'll def want some comfy sneaks, and a little backpack to lug your money, snacks and sunblock.

You can be sporty or fancy with it when picking out backpacks or travel totes. My personal opinion, less is more. Pack light! That is always my moto. You don't want to be weighed down with a heavy bag when exploring. Also I like to look "cheap" when traveling abroad. the last thing you want to do is attract unnecessary attention to yourself and be a target for pick pocketers. That's just my 2 cents ;) Everyone has a different preference when traveling. I tend to explore on my own so staying low key, is well, key.

Now you'll most likely have days at sea, so chillin pool side with a mai tai, you'll need a great swimsuit and cover up. And you're on vacation! So sexy it up with this floral cheeky two piece.

Pair with some strappy floral sandals...

and top off with a lovely chic kimono...

For other casual nights on the ship, or for checking out the on board disco or piano bar, try a romper!

On to makeup. Yes, keep that after sun glow with this travel size Amazonian Clay 12 hour blush by Tarte. Save on space with the multipurpose Kiss & Smink The Everything Stick
Use on lips, lids and cheeks.

Planning for 2 outfits a day, a couple of swimsuits, cover ups, and plenty of shoes, you should be good. The length of your trip will also make a difference on how much you bring. Throw in a light shawl for breezy evenings. Keep in mind these are all tropical hot weather locals. I have yet to explore cold areas, so packing for those will be way different.
As I mentioned, my top 2 cruises were the Celebrity Cruises Mediterranean trip and Carnival's Eastern Caribbean cruise. Excellent ports and stops. Some lovely pics below for you to browse. Let me know if you have any questions about any of these stops. Happy travels!

Wine lovers, stop at the Santo Wines Winery to enjoy a scenic view with a tasting.
